The public perception of esoteric and anthoposophical groups paints the picture of a holy world of love and harmony with nature. At the same time, ideas of supremacy, of the inequality of people and fantasies of exclusion or even annihilation can be found in numerous esoteric groups. This lecture deals with the connection of esoteric and anthroposophical movements to far right thought.
Patrick Irmer takes a look at historical and current developments in the “eso-scene” and the connections to radical right-wing ideas, which we will discuss afterwards.
