The pandemic dominates political discourse in Germany. But not everyone sees the global pandemic as a serious threat. Particularly on the political right, the danger of the corona crisis is relativized or denied altogether, much like in debates about the climate crisis. Other actors do not even deny the dangerousness of the pandemic, but interpret it using social darwinism.
Right-wing extremism expert Natascha Strobl (political scientist) will discuss similarities between right-wing reactions to the corona and climate crises and the connection of both crises in right-wing conspiracy ideologies.
